Greetings - I am an descendant of Cinthy Pettit (b 1813?). She is listed in Joshua Pettit's will of 1826. It is unusual that she is called out explicitly in the will. I did uncover an old family document regarding Cinthy that claimed her mother was Elizabeth Walker. Given that she had a shared inheritance with Elizabeth, that does seem possible. The inheritance included a parcel of land referred to as the "Mink Den Tract".
Some other interesting notes: 2 of Cinthys children list her in their death certificates. One with "Brown" as her maiden name, the other as "Pettit".
